The AKU Bellamont III Suede GORE-TEX trekking shoes are designed for urban use, travel and leisure time in contact with nature. It is produced in Europe in AKU-owned factories. 100% of the components of the product are traceable. This new edition of Bellamont III is characterized by the use of materials suitable for limiting the environmental impact: the lining is in Gore-Tex laminate with 99% recycled yarns; the Vibram N-Oil outsole compound is made with over 90% petroleum-free ingredients and colors obtained from natural pigments; the new R-EVA midsole produced in Italy contains 20% recycled material.

Technologies:
- Gore-Tex Gore-Tex membrane is a unique heat-sealed technical fabric containing approximately 1. 4 billion microscopic pores per square centimeter. These sediments are approximately 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times larger than a molecule of moisture vapor. So while water droplets cannot penetrate the membrane, moisture vapor easily escapes. GORE-TEX has designed 3 specific types of membrane for the footwear industry, each with specific functions.

- Vibram sole Most of the AKU collection has exclusive soles designed in conjunction with Vibram, both because of the specific design and shape of the sole, and because of the composition of the rubber with which it is made. The outsole is also designed with the specific needs and final use of the shoes in mind. 3 different types of soles have been designed specifically for mountain, trekking and active soles that have a particular resistance to abrasion.

- Internal Midsole System (IMS) is an exclusive technology used by AKU in the construction of the assembly palm, which combines the traditional nylon support structure with a microporous layer, placed on the inside of the instep. This system facilitates the perfect adaptation of the insole to the anatomy of the foot, guarantees an even distribution of pressure, prevents lateral and frontal displacement during intense use, also absorbs impacts and offers optimum comfort of the shoe last. In the IMS1 version the Internal Midsole System is combined with a thin external midsole of microporous EVA. In this way, thanks to the low profile of the midsole, maximum sensitivity, precision and reliability are guaranteed, to ensure a correct and immediate response to ground stresses.
